Disappointed it’s over, but these kids had a great season.
I did not like drawing Mo State. I knew they would be hard to beat.
But that is a very good baseball team.
And so are the Hogs. 3 games run total was 18-17…could have easily gone the other way.
Mo State definitely has extra motivation to beat the Hogs, and that inferiority-complex motivation can be hard to match.
Great season for Arkansas. Loved the SEC tournament performances.
For a team that lost 2 possible starting pitchers before the season began and a reliever early in the year this team did great. They brought excitement back after a one year hiatus. With all the young pitching they played this year, might bode well for next year. Congrats to hog baseball coaches and players. Great year.
Baum Stadium and Fayetteville all made a bunch of money in brand value during this regional. The announcers were enamored with us and other ESPN personalities stated very positive things as well. The crowd shots were amazing and impressive. The hog pen was impressive on TV.
If a recruit was watching this regional then they came away with much more respect for our Hogs.
