I’m not saying he’s a bad coach, but if this is legit in any way, then why on God’s green earth did we fire Anderson for. This coach has no name and no credentials to suggest he can recruit the players we need. The best he’s ever done was tie for 3rd in conference with Arkansas State. This better be a April fools prank, but I’m not laughing either way.

I would be excited about this. His record in D1 is good, and his record in D2 and JUCO is outstanding. Similar to Nolan in that respect. He had a really good season @ ASU, and they were terrible the year before and year after. I get that he may not be Plan A, but this would be far preferable (to me) than a mediocre retread. I just hope all the naysayers will give the new coach the same length leash that Coach Anderson had.
I honestly doubt it, even if it ends up being Sampson, 3 years, no NCAAT, everyone will be screaming “Fire Him.”
I think Billy Donovan, Brad Stevens, Mark Few, Bill Self, or even Chris Beard maybe given longer, but anyone else better get to the 2nd weekend of the tourney or we will have a new AD and coach search in about three years.
