Good looking baseball commit

Arkansas received a commitment last night from Josh Breaux, a JUCO catcher from McLennan Community College in Waco. That’s the same college that Dave Van Horn played before transferring to Arkansas.

Breaux is a good hitter who is going to be draft-eligible next summer, but I think he’ll make it to campus. A year at Arkansas could do wonders for his draft stock. He is probably the bridge between Grant Koch and Cason Tollett, who is a high school junior in Little Rock.

Coach Van Horn has contacts all over the country. I hope this team can make a run to Omaha this year.

It’s time. I’ve been going to Omaha every three years: 2009, 2012, and 2015 so 2018 would be right on schedule. But this time I want to stay longer.
