Brooke Matthews cruising to an individual victory at the Blessings with a five-shot lead over an LSU golfer. Women’s team is leading LSU by 13 shots late in the round, so I think we’ve got this one in the bag unless they suddenly start playing like me.
Men finished third. Bama appears to be coasting to a victory with EOE-K in second.
In a best-ball competition combining the men’s and women’s scores, the combined Hogs teams are leading the Poultry by three shots.
Kentucky’s Alex Goff, who was running away with the men’s individual race, started playing like me. Double bogey and triple bogey (including hitting a wrong ball) on the last two holes. He’s now tied with an EOE golfer who could win with a birdie on 18.
Matthews still leads by five and the women lead by 13.
