The Yellow Jackets lost 79-69 to Gardner-Webb tonight in Atlanta. Georgia Tech’s only wins this year have been over East Carolina, Prairie View, Florida A&M, Lamar and Texas-Rio Grande Valley.

General, I agree. We’ve already seen what a start of 2nd half energy did to our young Hogs at home against WKU.
We don’t have the luxury of taking any opponent lightly.

That’s an awful loss Tech was handed tonight. They will come in mad at the world later this week. The hogs better come out fired up. Let a sleeping dog sleep and don’t wake them up by letting them hang around.
Getting a win won’t help at all but a bad loss is what the hogs sure don’t need.
Let’s make them even madder with 30 pt blow out.

[/quote]Gardner Webb had won two road games before their win at GT; this is another case of an older, more experienced team being better prepared for a game. GT played Tennessee close; so they’re not a team to take lightly.
I’m sure the Georgia Tech team that takes the floor tomorrow night will more closely resemble their 1990 Lethal Weapon 3 team than the team that lost at home to those web gardeners.
they haven’t won many but have played some goods teams close lost by 3 to St johns and 13 to Tenn…we will have to play better than we have and I hope we do…
