Bailey , Thomas and CJ all played well, and all 3 helped us win this game. It was ugly with turnovers and mistakes galore by both sides, but we needed that win. Barford needs a few days off. He is tired.

I’m concerned about Barford. He’s not played well the last three games, although he hit some key shots late tonight. Not being critical of him. At least he had 11 minutes on the bench tonight, but he has played a lot of minutes in big games this year.
It is 3 out of last 4 games. He led us with 21 against A&M. Took the game over in the second half. But I agree he is tired. Although I was thinking he would be tired for Tuesday games wirh just 2 days off and not Saturday games where there are 3 days off.
I think the game ball could have went to a number of players those two included but I would give to the whole coaching staff and the bench good game WPS
He is a supremely well conditioned athlete. He plays the same amount of minutes as Macon. So why is Macon playing so much better? I do think he plays hard and gets fatigued, but I think it’s more that he is in a bit of a slump and making bad decisions.
Everybody has different endurance. Barford plays much more physical and absorbs a LOT of punishment driving to the basket. The bruises as well as the soreness in the muscles adds up after numerous body blows. He has been playing more than 30 minutes since CJ’s slump in late Dec and that adds up.
I may be wrong but there is some stuff out there where NR talks about the wear and tear of this style on his own guards, so he doesn’t want his gaurds to play more than about 25 minutes a game. Barford averaged 25 mins a game last year, but this year he is averaging 31 minutes a game for the season.
They did manage to get Barford and Macon down to 29 minutes each last night, a slight improvement. The big item there was CJ and Thomas providing scoring, especially CJ.
