Gafford

Despite of his 30 plus points against LSU, Gafford has been playing himself out of the NBA first round, let alone a lottery pick. He has been overpowered and out played by forwards and centers that can match up with him. He has not developed a midrange jump shot, and his free throw shooting is horrible. He’s bending over and grabbing his shorts just after 5 minutes on court. If I was a GM for an NBA team, would I spend a first round pick and tens of millions of dollars on a guy I would need to send to the G-League for 2 years to develop? No way. Gafford has only himself to blame for not taking initiative to develop his game. It also doesn’t help that for whatever reason, Anderson seems not at all interested in his players developing physically.
