So will he bother playing in the bowl?
His status for the bowl is iffy due to the injury that hampered him late in the season, but if you read the letter from him in the link, it says he will enter the draft after the bowl game. So it’s the injury that would keep him out if he doesn’t play.
I’m sure that’s the reason he’ll give, but I’m not sure it’s not fear of injury as much as it is actual current injury. This sure has the look of someone who is more interested in protecting his draft stock than he is in playing in the game.
Well surely he will play. After all he managed to get named 1st team SEC by the coaches despite missing several games and not even close the the rushing yards of our 2nd team selection SEC back who gained the most yards. LOL
