Welcome Aboard he has good size… let’s hope he has the speed to really make an impact for us. The longest pass he gave up all year long was 20 yards so he must be doing something right
This is good for the back end of the defense. Need a LB out 4 or 5 more.
RD and others would know better than I on this but I assume this is a really solid pickup for us, especially seeing that he has experience at the top level and still has 3 years of eligibility left which is great news to me.
Wonder what the chances are with his teammate that is visiting that is the safety.
Johnson played the fourth-most snaps on Baylor’s defense this season and tied for the fourth-best overall defense grade, per PFF.

Really good news! Especially coming on the heels of Bowman’s departure. Not sure how Sam pulled this off, but glad he did.
