I didn’t catch the show Muss was on today. Did he mention assistant coaches being hired any time soon?
He expects to have a complete staff by the time the players come back in a couple of weeks.
I asked Musselman today about Anthony Ruta and Hays Myers. Here’s his response:
“Both of those guys are obviously gong to be on staff. Not going to kind of divulge what their exact positions are going to be, but they won’t be coaches, although they have been taking on those responsibilities. They’ve done a phenomenal job since they’ve been in that role. They’ll go to the more natural positions that we actually talked about at the very beginning. Hopefully within the next week it’ll all become clear what we’re doing.”
