Winners of seven straight SEC games, the Razorbacks are riding high. A team that was in danger of dropping out of the projected field a month ago is now seen as a likely No. 8 seed. In his second season in Fayetteville, Eric Musselman has Arkansas playing the kind of defense that was so familiar to Nevada’s opponents in the Mountain West during the coach’s tenure there. The Hogs limit opponents to one shot and force a fair number of turnovers. Musselman’s team has a chance to earn the program its highest seed since Bobby Portis and Michael Qualls entered the 2015 tournament on the No. 5 line.
Did you see something that had our hogs on the 5/6 seed line?
Bubble Watch guy doesn’t necessarily agree with Lunardi. He’s making his own choices.
Agree. And he’s also more focused on who is getting in vs their eventual seed.
We are firmly a 7 right now, trending to a 6.
He’s just one guy, but Lunardi will have us as a 6 in Friday’s bracket (told me that himself on Twitter). Bracket Matrix has us the fourth 7 this morning but it wouldn’t take that much (move up one line on one-fourth of their brackets) to get us into the 6s.
Like old AL Davis said, “Just Win Baby!”, then everything else takes care of itself.
