EPL Starts Tomorrow

The English Premier League starts tomorrow. Since this a football board I thought it was fair to post this thread here, as the English refer to soccer as football.

Soccer is huge in my family. My son has played for years and now plays for a local high school team. We are Man United fans and are actually going to a game over there this December. I hope there are no conflicts with the Hogs bowl game.

My prediction for top 10 in the EPL this year:

  1. Man United
  2. Man City
  3. Arsenal
  4. Tottenham
  5. Chelsea
  6. Leicester City
  7. Liverpool
  8. West Ham
  9. Everton
  10. Middlesbrough

You’ll love the atmosphere. My son and I are actually members of Arsenal FC and went to a match at the Emirates last April, which was quite an experience.

I’m not sure Mourinho can make that much difference in ManU this year, but it’s possible. One of these years Arsenal will actually sign enough people that the annual rash in injuries will be more than a nuisance. I hear we just signed a centerback which is needed with injuries from the summer. But I’d probably take that third place finish right now.
