Parkview was a dominant football program in the 70s and 80s, with Keith Jackson, James Rouse, etc. Then they became a joke after the transition to a magnet school, although they remained relevant in basketball. Seems that Brad Bolding has finally turned them around.
Bolding for sure. You also have to give major credit to LR district AD John Daniels and superintendent Michael Poore.
Before Daniels and Poore got there the funding was a joke. Poore comes from Bentonville and understands the importance of athletics. It’s not just football they’re improved funding for it’s all sports.
The old guard did everything to defund athletics.
Looking forward to being on hand to see Little Rock Parkview at Greenwood on Friday, Sept. 25.
