Gotta love it!
DVH gets a bad rap because he’s always so stoic and no emotion during the game but behind the scenes he cuts up with those kids I’ve seen it on some of the videos.
They love the man and that’s why they play so hard for him… I would love for this group to win it all, they have nothing to lose we are not going to be the favorite. Just go play very loose and have fun be surprised how well you might do.
I wonder if that last comment was kind of a take-off on Bielema’s comment after a game a few years back about “hopping on his wife”?
Well, I didn’t hear the speech yesterday but I saw what happened afterward. He came over by the dugout and hugged his wife and his daughters.
He just said “hug my wife” nothing like CBB.
I felt sorry for CBB for that slip of the tongue. It was funny, but obviously he didn’t mean to say that.
Look at the eyes of the players listening to him. That’s the look of a group that is locked in.
And DVH was correct. The team flew home this morning and has landed at XNA. Should be back at BWS by now.
They are home. Lucky them.
I feel your pain Matt. I spent well over 30 years flying most weeks. The stories I can tell. I’m giving away all those miles to folks that need them. The RV can take me anywhere I want to go now. Every day is a Saturday.
I hoped to fly home today, but flights along the East Coast are apparently jam packed.
Man I’m sorry. At least airports have good internet and plenty of places to charge up. Monday is a tough day. Lots of business travelers.
That’s Awesome, glad they were there to see them arrive! You know that meant a lot to them
Such a beautiful thought. No appointments, no deadlines, no alarms. Go to bed when you choose, get up when you want to.
Hallelujah and amen.
Last time I flew in a commercial flight, the electronics went out during a bad storm. I just kept listening to my songs, other people were just in shock. Thankfully all cut back on prior to landing in charlotte. . Friendly sky’s indeed. Next to last military flight I had, the plane was getting lit up at the end of the runway in Iraq, which was normal by the natives who just shot up in the air.
. Fun times indeed.
I noticed the Hogs’ team bus parked outside the ballpark in Chapel Hill both days. I guess the drivers made the trip down Interstate 40 before the team flew so they’d have ground transportation once they arrived.
