Seems like she had a good thing going at Oregon State. Oregon State has been better than Arkansas, although hopefully that will be changing.
Why are a lot of grad transfers leaving their schools, like the guy who led the nation in rebounding?
Some clues: OSU lost four seniors from this year’s team, totaling 24 points a game. Slocum led the team in scoring. A 6-4 freshman was third in scoring and perhaps the 2021 offense was going to be built more around her.
She had been recruited by CMN twice, so is apparently comfortable with him.
And the 2021 Hogs are going to be really good.
She really likes coach Neighbors and obviously feels like Arkansas has a chance for a special season.
She may have wanted a chance to play in the SEC.
Whatever her reasons CMN landed a very good one for sure.
