Assuming Arkansas loses Casey Opitz to the draft, as expected, this means the catchers on campus next season would be Cason Tollett, transfers A.J. Lewis and Robert Emery, and incoming freshman Dylan Leach.
Matt, do you think Tamez is transferring out because the other catchers transferred in, or did DVH see this coming beforehand?
I’m not sure of the sequence. I heard a couple of weeks ago that Tamez was probably going to transfer, which was around the time the other catchers committed.
