… fighting on the sidelines or was there a fight?
Freddie Fairchild
There wasn’t a “fight”, it was more of a war of words with a little aggressive action. I was about 15 feet from the “action” sitting in the first row behind the defense’s benches. Pulley was giving Gerald an earful about something that happened on the field. Gerald stood up and started toward Pulley, but a couple players stepped between them. Then, Greenlaw, who was on the stationary bike, yelled at them and got off the bike and headed over there. That pretty much stopped the little fray, and then a few seconds later an asst. coach came over and all calmed down.
One only hopes they were fighting about something in the game.
But some seem to be so checked out they may be fighting about what movie they wanted to see or something.
A shame there is evidently more fight on the sideline than on the field.

Is it just me or did I see Gerald make more plays yesterday?
That was the most fight our defense had all day…
I wish they would quit talking when the make a play. Let your play do the talking and win the game! Scoreboard says it the best!
Gerald made his first plays of the yr that I have seen, will be much better next yr. with a full offseason and experience.
Gerald played well yesterday.
I have no problems whatsoever with teammates going at each other.
Would be upset in a season headed for 2-10 season if everybody was just cool with each other.
how about a coach who conveys an overall all is cool message or more closely an animal house all is well attitude. Even if he isn’t an all is cool personna that is what comes across in the media coverage, limited by design. I get that it probably eats his guts out, but he does not convey that to what we are allowed to see. I feel like he recognized this team’s destiny early and is just riding the string out. We really feel like a Last Chance U destiny if you take the title literally.
His post game interview from yesterday was different and about time. Time to take the kid gloves off and treat these players like men.
Liked it.
