He got drilled in the head with a 98 mph fastball in the middle of a major, old-school bean brawl between the Tigers and Yankees and came back to later hit a big home run.
It was tough.

I think he actually hit the home run in the next inning. For what it’s worth, James said he didn’t think the pitch that hit him was intentional. From the AP:
“At that point in the game, Miggy was thrown at, Sanchez had been hit, and at least in my mind, the retaliation was over. I don’t think that he was trying to hit me on purpose.”
