With Raising Cane’s. Dude is killing it in the NIL market. He’ll take a pay cut when he graduates
Good for Devo! It was great to see lots of the players parents at the road games this year. I can only assume the NIL money is helping cover their travel cost.
He has a great personality.
Does this quiet the “Devo is leaving” concerns? I for one never thought twice about him leaving. He’s all Hog!
we drove up 67/167 about 3 weeks ago, there’s a billboard as you enter Jacksonville, with a huge pic of Devo, arms outspread for the length of the billboard, that says “welcome to Devoville”. Love it!
Hope JWill is getting plenty of NIL love too. Anybody know what deals he currently has? The only one I’m aware of is UAMS.
I think he’s going to be the older guy who shows all these talented young dudes “the Way” and provides the grit and will when this team inevitably has some growing pains. Jaylin, if he comes back, will do the same thing.
Devo might not be our leading scorer more than a handful of games next year, but if we are successful, he will be due a lot of credit.
JWill has a T-shirt deal, one with Cameo, and I think I saw something about a law firm. And there may be others.
The T-shirt deal:
He should get sponsored by an electric car brand— Nothing takes a better charge! Or When …greatness takes a charge…or a charge that will keep you winning….This is why I am not in advertising and will stick to engineering.
Jaylin also has deals with Sassy’s and a car dealership in Fort Smith.
Which brings up an old family joke. My son attended North Little Rock High, which for some reason after they closed Northeast High changed its mascot to the Charging Wildcats to satisfy Northeast grads. To my son, this prompted the image of a wildcat running through McCain Mall with fists full of credit cards. So he refers to his alma mater as the Visacats.
If I was an orthodontist, I’d sign JWill. That smile is captivating.
I think I already posted this in another thread, but I read a day or two ago that Jaylin has signed another big NIL deal that will be announced soon. Don’t know anything else about it.
I live in Cabot, see it all the time and smile when I do.
What about Devo Clay? He sacrificed a toothe and kept playing in the game.
Devo should also get a headband NIL deal.
He has a deal with southern floor coating and the buzz. I know how much the spot and sponsorship runs but no idea what J Will is making from it.
Au’Diese Toney actually has a deal with Westrock Orthodontics.
I am a graduate of Northeast, as is Mrs. Buzzard and my brother. The Northeast Charger nickname was great and unique in Arkansas.
The Charging Wildcat is just silly. When they consolidated the schools they should have just used Wildcats, which is what NLR High was before Northeast opened in the 70s.
Yup. I agree. And so does SF Junior.
Guynhawaii is also a Northeast grad. Not sure of his view on the Charging Wildcats.
