So, does that leave us with just 2 more non-conf games and 2 exhibition games still to be decided? That’s based on last year’s schedule, assuming that would be the maximum or the norm?
Correct, and one of those NC games will be the North Little Rock game. We’ll play 31 regular season games again just like last year.
One of the two nonconference opponents should be either Coppin State or Northern Kentucky. That will be on campus. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the NLR game to be against UALR or UAPB on Dec. 21. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see an exhibition against one of the Division-II schools from in the UA system, Fort Smith or Monticello.
I think the SEC schedule might be out by the end of this week.
When UALR announced the UA-UALR women’s game, I was told by the UALR athletic department that the men’s game was in the talking stage for this year or next. When, I had not heard anything since then, I figured it won’t happen this year. Good to hear it still may happen.
I’m not saying it will happen, just that I wouldn’t be surprised if it did.
