I’m glad the blond Kim Mulkey, Jr. didn’t win it all. I’m glad none of the corndogs won. At least there’s some comfort in knowing we beat the national champions 16-0 in the only game we played against them this year. The only thing better than LSU losing is Ole Miss missing the whole tournament.

As I noted earlier, I was pulling for Florida. However, the silver lining in their series win was - as NEA points out - seeing LSU lose. I did enjoy that - a lot.

And, as for Southpaw’s note - yes, I was aware that Lee played for DVH; but his Cy Young award came (2008) during DVH’s time as head coach. As such, it is an asset for the PROGRAM (kids don’t necessarily know or care that Lee was recruited by the prior regime). And I was comparing the programs in my comments. But, you are correct.
