It’s about time. His not being in the Hall was a crime in of itself.
Never will forget his first game in Atlanta when he hit two home runs and a fire broke out in the stands… strange scenario. But the crime dog could rake glad he got in.

Years ago I was in Fantasy League at Tulsa World. The anchors I protected (and you could protect two each year) were Fred McGriff and Will Clark.
Each morning at breakfast my daughters would ask, “Did Crime Dog or Will the Thrill get a dinger last night?”
Jean Ann was sure I had two tiny girls ruined for life. She said there had to be a better thing for us to discuss at breakfast all summer.
