Are exhibition games allowed for SEC schools? For instance, if a non-conference foe would play Arkansas, could we hold the game as an “exhibition”, meaning it wouldn’t count for any wins or losses? That’s assuming there is an opportunity to sneak in a game. The idea would be to get some real practice and maybe make some money off the game as a pay per view event.

We can’t do pay per view. All TV rights are assigned to the SEC Network. For example, the first live event SECN showed on its first day of programming was a women’s soccer exhibition between the Hogs and Creighton.

I think football is the only sport that does not allow exhibitions. And even if it did, I can’t see anything like that being played in the current climate.
