This was assumed, but I’ve confirmed Isaiah Campbell will return for 2019.
Isaiah put out a statement a little while ago about his decision.
“I’m excited about being able to come back, get stronger and fine tune my craft. There’s nothing better than putting on that Razorback uniform and playing in front of the best fan base in all of college baseball.”
I know we expected this, but it’s still great news. Glad to see. If he works hard and learns to pitch out of the stretch, he can have a great year in 2019.
Wes Johnson said he told Campbell last week to enjoy pitching out of the windup this summer because he will be pitching out of the stretch every pitch in the fall.
I believe Wes is on to something there!
