Common Theme Over 4 Years

Start Games Well, Special team gaff’s, key penalties, turnovers, lose close games in 2nd half… Groundhog Day Nightmare over and over again.

[/quote]defense definitely looked stronger in first half, but I thought the offense executed better in second half. Penalties were bad today, seemed after the missed call that cost the Aggies a TD, every call went against us. Need to clean up mistakes and special teams, as our margin for error is slim.

And an Allen looking like a deer in the headlights after missing an open receiver and then throwing into triple coverage.

No doubt the offense was better in the 2nd half, but the other 2 phases that were decent in the 1st half collapses in the 2nd. Reoccurring theme of finding ways to lose close games in the 2nd half. Not making a “fire the coach” proclamation, just a statement of fact.

My grandfather was a dirt farmer who had a saying:
" If you don’t properly plow and prepare your field, then you plant poor seed, then you don’t weed and water, don’t expect a good crop".

We have excellent facilities (the field), we have not had outstanding recruiting (the seed), coaching is at best questionable (weeding and watering), so we are upset and not winning (poor crop).

Any “worthwhile” thoughts ?

Got the answer, “hope that someone or a group can come up with 11.7 million after the season” and get rid of JL.

If I were Dr Bobbitt, I would make immediate plans to fire Jeff Long! Mr Long has been the worse influence ever on Razorback athletics.

John White will always hold the title of ‘worst influence ever on Razorback Athletics’
