Football recruiting , esp. defensive side of ball, has picked up with new coaches and recruiting staff. Competition is a good thing and I suspect many of the Arkansas players who transferred out are seeing the same thing too and trying to find a place to get playing time. Ultimately this helps both parties but I agree with SP that it is best if you can recruit the players and have them finish four years with you. That is not as likely to be case going forward and in some sports it is even harder–basketball fits that now.
Good players want to play with other good players and have coaching and support staffs in place to be successful and win. Arkansas in all sports has improved greatly in this area in the past four years . Bar has been raised and question is not can we compete but when will we have the winning to match that. Better days are ahead.
