i am very impressed with CBB handling of the situation.
i am very impressed with his comments regarding the situation as well

he is a good man. cares about his guys.

hopefully cole takes this as life lesson and builds from it

Totally agree Elvis. Cole will learn from this and by the way this is good for his turf toe injury. He can heal up and be ready for spring ball.

I suspect if this had happened at OU or Bama the message would be “we will handle this in house”. And he would play. CBB treats them all the same

[/quote]Not true. He does not treat them all the same when it comes to discipline.

R 77 hhow do you know are you on the football team

No, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Just kidding, but I read the newspapers, Hawg Illustrated, coaches interviews, etc. Do you remember Cheyenne O’Grady’s DWI? It was handled differently. Cheyenne was removed from the team, not suspended for at least a week.

Glad he handled something right, he sure as hell has mishandled the football program.

I think Cole has the same suspension that CJ got. He won’t be around the practices, workouts, etc. for the entire week. There is a quote that he says Cole is going to have to see what life without football is like. I think he is away from the team too.

Perhaps, but I suspect not. At least to some extent. It has been a long time but as I recall Jimmy Johnson admitted he held marginal players to higher standard than the star players. That makes sense. If a coach needs a player to win games, he doesn’t want to lose him as opposed to a player that seldom plays.
