Colby isn't messing around with recruiting

The soccer team has announced signees from Denver, Iowa, Kansas City (two of those) and Austin. I don’t know if anyone does star ratings for soccer recruits but I presume they’re top level. One of them (the girl from Iowa, Ainsley Erzen) is going to run track as well; she’s an 800 specialist.

And one of them is named Ava. That makes three Avas on the roster.

Now added one from metro Atlanta. Not named Ava, however.

And two more from the Denver burbs.

Please, please, please tell me Colby’s gonna play her as a true, two-way MF. We desparately need someone with serious speed to track down those breakaway counters (from behind).

Love seeing this Swine….this team is now at a level it can recruit nationally it seems and not having to strictly focus on say Arkansas or Ok or Texas areas which are certainly very good areas.

I’m guessing Makenzie Malham is Taylor’s younger sis?

Yup. Gatorade Player of the Year in Mobilehoma.

Even got one from my neck of the woods, although Wilkes County is a looooong way from Casa SF.

Two quotes that stuck out to me:

Furrow on why she chose Arkansas: “The second I stepped on to Razorback Field, my emotions got the best of me and I started to cry- that was the moment I knew Arkansas was where I was meant to play!”

and you don’t see many THREE sport athletes in college:

Hale on Handel: “Syd is a three-sport athlete who was recruited to compete in all three at the college level. She is an elite athlete and a fiercely confident and competitive human. She will be a great fit in our program.”

The Colorado girl is a graduate of Columbine HS, the HS where the infamous massacre occurred.

This recruiting class is absolutely sickening for the rest of the SEC. Domination will continue. Watch out Duke, NC, Fl St, and Rutgers.
