There is lots of good stuff here, including “Athletic success helps the brand.” -Dr. Robinson.

Loved the interview and I’m glad he’s in charge of my alma mater.

Clay gave me a heads up on this one since the guy actually knew what a Land Grant School is supposed to be all about. Clay surprised me with his knowledge of it. He told me he had to do research on that one. Oh yes, has nothing to do with sports but does not preclude sports

Robinson was a great choice for UofA Chancellor! UofA was fortunate to have him on campus for 23 years to understand the needs & challenges of leading our world class university with a primary goal of serving the needs of the State of Arkansas.

K-State was actually the first land grant school set up as a direct result of the Morrill Act, in 1863. Other schools existing prior to passage of the Morrill Act in 1862 were designated after the fact.

I was prepared for the interview. I had 10 topics and all of them were properly addressed by our Chancellor. I did intend to listen to some Drake on my drive across north Arkansas. But I got lost in Amarillo. Some will get that.

Did you make it by morning

Arkansas isn’t in the list.

Because Clay spent a lot of time discussing our land grant status in the interview, i.e., it’s a given.
