Not a huge surprise after his struggles on the mound late in the season and a 5.28 ERA. Series begins this afternoon in Keuchel’s old stomping grounds in Houston.
I hated it, but I sure wouldn’t have trusted him to start a game. The Sox gave him a week or 2s rest, then gave him a test reliever spot and one more start last week. He just couldn’t get it done. I hope they give him a full share of playoff dollars. He was great last year. Must have a nagging injury.
