I know today is merely reporting day, and the kids won’t hit the practice fields until tomorrow. Yet I find myself coming back to the board multiple times every hour to see if there has been any news. It’s been a long, long offseason. Like many of you, I am ready to get the season started. Short of that, I’m thrilled just to have pre-season reports.

I do wonder about one thing that could make news today: anyone not reporting that we expect? I know the late JUCO signee may be delayed (hopefully nothing more than paperwork). Anyone else not on campus that we expect to be there?

It’s going to be a long 38 days, but hope is on the horizon.

Everybody else that is a key cog is expected to be there although Coach B did mention Friday that a couple of reserves were still pondering their future.
