Just doesn’t produce. I told my wife he will give up 2 hits and throw a couple in the dirt. So far right on target. Taking him out thank goodness.
He’s horrible,hangs almost every pitch he throws.
It’s hard to stay sharp when you don’t get the time on the mound. We need all the available arms to pitch. Especially playing after midnight and hopefully tomorrow.
It’s disappointing to see him struggle late in the season with how well he was throwing mid-season. He’s seems to be more of a closer, but he’s being used as a mid relief guy. I think you’d see him struggle less if he knew he could throw 99% cutters rather than 50/50. We definitely need him to bounce back.
