this morning as he had a team-high 16 points and 8 rebounds on 7-of-8 field goal shooting (1 of 2 from 3) and 1 of 3 FTs as the Arkansas Hawks lost 83-64 to Virginia’s Team Loaded.

He got to play 24 minutes after playing single digits the first two games.

Ethan Henderson and TJ Moss both added 12 points

Isaiah Joe and D.J. Weaver had 8 points each

Reggie Perry had 6 points and 5 rebounds

Perry had 22 points, Weaver 12 , Moss 11, Joe 9, Justice Hill 4 points and 6 assists and Henderson 4 points and 7 rebounds in the Hawks’ 69-65 loss to Mass Rivals on Friday afternoon

How does Stokes compare to Trey at same age? I’ve not seen him play.

I would say that he might be ahead offesively of where Trey was at this point, but not defensively.

Like others at Parkview, he deferred to the older players.

One would suspect he will have a much better high school season this year.

Coach Ingram says he has lost 20 pounds this summer, which would certainly be beneficial to his game and him being in shape.
