I always find it surprising that Dan Hampton has never made it into the College Football Hall of Fame, but has been in the Pro Football Hall of Fame for 18 years.

Hope both men get inducted. Well deserved. That is strange big Dan hasn’t already made it.
I thought of Dan as very good, but not great at UA. He made one All America team as a senior. If you’d told me when the Bears drafted him that he’d wind up in the HOF in Canton I don’t think I’d have believed you.
