The story conveys that Bumper played hurt the last two years because of the hip issues but at the end of last. season , he told coaches he could no longer run due to the pain. Hard to play and produce when in pain but kudos to the young man for his career and hope he realizes his NFL dreams.

“The guy that had 441 tackles at the University of Arkansas was severely limited (compared) to the guy the Carolina Panthers are gonna get,” Carroll added. “And that comes from the doctors, not from anybody else.”

One of the best reads ever. Bumper is one of my favorite Razorbacks. So happy for him, and I hope he has a long stint doing what he loves. The Panthers got an absolute steal.

There’s not a doubt in my mind he can play in the NFL if he can just stay healthy. He reads plays extremely well and when healthy can get there and a flash… That’s how he was able to get all these tackles for us.
