For some reason I never thought about going to Stanford when I was in high school. I looked at the Ivy League schools, and some of them looked at me, but Stanford never entered my thinking. Wouldn’t have been a bad time to be there either. Their quarterback then was John Elway. And maybe I would have been a Silicon Valley billionaire now.
