After all the surprises and upsets, we’re left with a gathering of the elite in New Orleans. Definitely a blue tie affair. Nothing but different shades of blue. At least Kentucky is home, crying in their mint juleps.
Kentucky stinks and Cal can enjoy his lifetime contract!
Only 2 hours where I live but the only thing that drags me down to New Orleans is Cafe du Monde to get my beloved beignets LOL
Where do you live Youda, MS?
Yeah I live in Hattiesburg Mississippi…
May God have mercy on your soul.
Now now see here. That’s my old college town you are talking about. A perfectly fine place to live, filled with good, salt of the earth people. A little too close to hurricane action for my taste, but then again, I live within quaking distance of the New Madrid fault line.
chargrilled oysters for me
Yeah People have no idea how Nice Hattiesburg is, very close to the beaches in Fla and several SEC stadiums less than 5 hrs away The big easy is only 2hrs away… Bad weather can be an issue for sure but when you close to the ocean just part of it.
You ever been to Hattiesburg??
I’ll let you have them my friend but NO is known for their seafood for sure
Many times youdaman. Just yanking your chain. We always stop their on the way to the redneck riviera. Always enjoyed walking the campus at Southern Miss.
Cool …I live about 1 mile from USM and walk the Campus 4-5 times a week myself…
I had several Army 2week resident phase classes at Southern Miss and with a huge group of Guardsmen from Kentucky we practiced spoon hanging at local restaurants. Great fun for young adults; but I wouldn’t do that today.
We drove through Hattiesburg for years headed to the beach. I spent a few days working there years ago and enjoyed it a lot. Good folk. You too Billy!
Thanks Danny. I enjoy living in Hburg, good people and not very far from a lot of great places to go.
Billy is the End Zone still around?
Yes it is…haven’t been there in a while though.
Wow! That’s amazing. Does Dave still own it?
yes he does, had to close for a while during covid I believe but open now.
