I’m told Blake Wiggins underwent surgery this week to repair a wrist injury he suffered in practice. He is going to miss 3 to 4 months with recovery. The injury was a TFCC tear in his right wrist. Blake is right-handed.
Oh no! I hate that for him. 
I get the impression that this injury is going to make it difficult for Wiggins to make the roster in the spring. Tony Vitello said last month that Wiggins’ bat was going to be the difference in whether he played. He has missed some valuable time to practice for the coaches, who have to make 16 cuts at the end of the fall.
