Blake Mazza

Blake Mazza had a big role in a nationally-relevant game Saturday. He kicked a 42-yard field goal with 19 seconds remaining to give Washington State a 41-38 win over Stanford that put WSU in the driver’s seat in the Pac-12 North.

Mazza, who transferred after redshirting his freshman season at Arkansas in 2017, has now made 7 of 10 field goals for the Cougars, with a long of 50 yards.

It isn’t far fetched for Arkansas to have all three of its kickers from last season make all-conference teams this year - Mazza at Washington State, Cole Hedlund at North Texas and Connor Limpert. Hedlund is 15 of 18 and Limpert is 16 of 20.

Hey Hey. Maybe that’s what people mean when they say we look like KU this season?

Kicker University. Lets go with that.

Minus the desperate unrealistic 60+ yard attempt by Limpert last Saturday. He would be 16-19.

[/quote]Yes, I think Limpert deserves it. He’s even gotten stronger on his kickoffs. Our special teams are not near as bad as they once were.

CCM has improved ST play in half a season on the job way more than CBB did in 4 years.

If i am not mistaken he got a scholarship to go to WSU that he didn’t have here.
