Are the speeds in the forty getting more accurately
listed or are the receivers and running backs just
getting slower?
The 4.71 was most likely from a Nike combine where they use laser. That would translate to a 4.5 handheld. I’ve been to numerous combines and often they’re held outside and is cold or cool temps and that obviously contribute to slower times.
I really don’t worry much about 40 times because a kid can slip and have bad technique.

I assume interested. Coaches are usually good about knowing who’s interested and who’s looking for a trip.
I think these coaches are doing a awesome job with the recruits they are talking to and getting to visit with such short notice, makes me wonder what they can do with a whole year or two.
FWIW, Treveon told me awhile back he was visiting, but wasn’t ready to make it public. He gave me permission last night.
There’s another one that’s indicated he’ll visit. Will pass along when I can.
Well that’s a little more inspiration to the story. Can’t wait to hear about this other one as well.
I indicated a few weeks ago there were 2-3 guys that planned to visit but weren’t ready to say.
