He ran the bases tonight in Toronto before the Sox’ game with the Jays, although nowhere near full speed, and may try sliding as soon as tomorrow. Still no timetable for his return from the DL, but he could make a rehab start soon. It’s been more than 15 days since his injury so he’s eligible to come off the DL as soon as he’s ready.
