Good grief. Nate Oates should be forced to take a Public Speaking course at Alabama while he’s coaching there. Maybe he would learn sometimes it’s just best to keep your big mouth shut. Every word he speaks about this incident is the wrong one. Literally every single one. Someone needs to tell him to just stop talking about it altogether. This guy really seems incapable of feeling any sort of empathy for other people and doesn’t seem to possess much in the way of a moral compass. I thought Oates was pretty smart at one time. Not so much anymore after actually listening to him speak. Good basketball coach but seems to really lack ethical principles of any kind.

That dude just reeks of being a shady character(used car salesman)… just his whole body language during his interviews tells you all you need to know… He’s a scumbag and always will be… This will haunt him for the rest of his career,not that he’s worried about it, I can assure you, but it is what it is.

Oh, I think that he would still let you play on his basketball team, but that is irrespective of the facts that might be disregarded when we declare that there is nothing that we can charge you with.

But what if Oats knows the actual facts of the case (like the DA who chose not to charge BM) and you don’t, and that’s why he’s saying what he says…? If that were the case then every one of your accusations above would actually describe you (except the good basketball coach part) instead of Oats.
