Eric Musselman says it nearly every time we talk to him. Each game takes on its own identity. Just because you played well in the last game doesn’t mean you will next time out. And vice versa.


Right. That principle has applied (especially in college basketball) for a while.

After seeing several “unexpected” results so far (Mizzou beats Bama, Ole Miss beats Florida, Vandy beats Arkansas, Georgia beats Bama, Auburn escapes Mizzou) I was merely speculating as to why there is little separation between most every team in the SEC. Parity or mediocrity?

It’s probably both, but most thoughts in this thread seem to lean towards parity.
