Watts is one of the SURPRISES of this year’s team that gives me hope for the Interior Dline. He has had one of the biggest frames with great strength but I could never understand why he never played to his potential the last 3 years. There was something about the past defensive scheme or maturity or being in the doghouse that must have held him back. The new staff = new start.
The Hammer is now fully awake and engaged. He’s paid his dues. Glad to see him have success on the field.
He has also indicated he is one of Arkansas’ game captains for this weekend, too, so good for him. You can sense in his voice he feels he has a lot to prove.
