Arkansas vs. LSU, SEC Tournament

The Hogs are the epitome of a great team. They don’t have the best pitchers, and they don’t have the best hitters, but they are probably the best at playing together. The sum is greater than the parts, and that’s a credit to DVH and the rest of the coaching staff.

I do t I think LSU will need an out of body experience for several
Of their pitchers to beat A&M. I will be pulling for A&M.
A&M will be playing their 4th game tomorrow! How many games has LSU played the same as the hogs 2. Tomorrow makes LSU’s third game.
The hogs just need to avoid getting anyone hurt and just play.

Even having said that, you are still pretty sure we will lose tomorrow?:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Just mashing your taters.
I know we don’t play tomorrow.

Like Chip said, anything we do in Hoover from here on is gravy.

Just get everyone back to Fayettenam healthy.
The real fun starts next week!

I missed the double play late in the game that Holt was involved in. What did he do?

It was the best play I’ve seen all year. A great fake caught everyone watching in the stands and on tv completely by surprise. Double play in reverse. :eyes::coffee::sunglasses:

I had recorded the game and went back and found the play. That was awesome! Everything had to fall in place on that play. The runner on third had to make a slight turn toward home and got caught trying to get back. Holt is making a statement at second base and at the plate.
This kid is what you call a baller!

He pulled the okie doke on him… that fake throw the first and then pivot and throw back to third was was a thing of beauty! That runner fell asleep and he got woke up real quick LOL.
I love Holt! He is a flat-out baller! I loved his little grin on his face when he was batting when he fouled off that hanging breaking ball, he knew the pitcher got lucky there… he knows he can get the job done and that’s way more than half the battle.

Just looked at the Baton Rouge paper website (complained about the catcher’s interference call, of course), but it also had the pregame odds according to Caesars Sportsbook. LSWho was a -160 favorite, meaning bet $160 to win $100. If you actually wanted to win the bet, Arkansas was +130 (bet $100 to win $130). Over/under was 12.5; they noted that in Skenes’ 14 starts, the total was more than 12.5 runs six times.

Wonder what the odds at Saracen were?

Yes, which is why he is COY.
