Well crap. Get the DP leaving no one on with 2 out, then a single, hit batter & HR. Suddenly we’re down 3-2. Just as I was feeling good about Stephan & thinking their starter was about to pitch himself out. Need to get out of this inning & get our bats started again.

That sure escalated quickly. Hopefully we can continue to drive up the pitch count on their starter. And keep the bats going. One would think with the wind blowing out an Arkansas batter will eventually put one over the fence.

Sorta puzzled by Coach’s decision to start Kenley, and the pinch hit Williams. Would have thought Gates as a lefty made more sense than Williams.

Game just has a funny feel to it

Arkansas has a big inning brewing in the eighth. Dominic Fletcher reached on a two-strike single and Jax Biggers followed with a home run that hugged just inside the right field foul pole. Arkansas leads 4-3.

It was the first run allowed by Texas A&M reliever Kaylor Chafin since March 26 vs. Vanderbilt.

Jaxon Williams followed with a single and Jake Arledge reached on a fielding error while trying to sac bunt.

Texas A&M intentionally walked Luke Bonfield to set up the double play and it got it when Grant Koch grounded into one with the bases loaded. Arkansas leads 4-3 midway through eight innings.
