Top First Inning - Black 3, Red 0

• The Black team has jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first on Cayden Wallace’s three-run blast over the LCF fence off of Red starter Caden Monke

• Jalen Battles reach on a two-base error leading off and Monke then hit Christian Franklin with an inside fastball.

Bottom First Inning - Black 3, Red 3

• Robert Moore greets Black team staring pitcher Connor Noland with a homer over the LF fence.

• Smith singled and Webb eventually plated him with a single while another run scored via a passed ball.

Top Second Inning - Black 5, Red 3

Monke walked the first two he faced and was replaced by LHP graduate trasnfer Lael Lockhart

Lockhart got the next two batters out before walking Christian Franklin to the load the bases Caden Wallace’s single chased two home to give him 5 RBIs in two innings.

End Second Inning - Black 5, Red 3

Connor Noland rolls through the bottom of the second frame unscathed while striking out the side on 14 pitches

Middle Third Inning - Black 5, Red 3

Blake Adams comes in to pitch a 1-2-3 inning for the Red

End Third Inning: Black 5, Red 5

Brayden Webb homers off Noland to lead off the bottom of the third and Zack Gregory does the same with two outs.

That ends the day for Connor Noland.

Jaxson Wiggins comes in to get the final out.

End Fourth Inning - Black 5, Red 5

Sophomore RHP Ryan Costieu whiffs Bryce Matthews , Clayton Gray and Jalen Battles in the top of the top of the fourth

Evan Taylor comes on to pitch fr the Black and turns in a scoreless inning despite a walk, a stolen pitch and a wild pitch

Middle 5th Inning - Black 9, Red 5

Christian Franklin and Cayden Wallace reach base with HBP and BB, respectively, to open the fifth and Cason Tollett’s deep drive moves them both up a base.

LHP Zack Morris in to take over on the mound for the Red squad.

He comes within an out of keeping it tied, but Jacon Nesbit’s RBI single off the second base umpire, Bryce Matthews ’ two-run double and a wild pitch score 4.

End Fifth Inning - Black 9, Red 6

Kevin Kopps relieves with two on and two out and gets a ground ball from Zack White, but it eludes third baseman Jacob Nesbit on a play he would normally make and allows a run to score.

Kopps gets Jackson Cobb to ground out with the bases loaded to end the frame.

Middle Sixth Inning - Black 12, Red 6

Jackson Burton on to pitch for the Red in the top of the sixth in what is a scheduled 7-inning game.

He retires Jalen Battles, but then hits Christian Franklin. Franklin is a little upset considering it is the third time he has been plunked today.

Cayden Wallace’s third hit of the day is a single that Franklin races to third on.

Cason Tollet’s swinging bunt slowly rolls down the third base line and loads the bases with one out.

Ethan Bates is hit by a pitch to force in a run and Burton’s day is done.

He is replaced by RHP Mark Adamiak, who inherits a base-loaded, one-out situation and promptly walks in Charlie Welch to make it 11-6.

Jacob Nesbit’s potential double play ball is booted, resulting in a force out and a run scoring to push it to 12-6.

Adamiak does get Bryce Matthews to pop out to end the threat.

End Sixth Inning - Black 12, Red 8

Watson Chapel freshman RHP Gabriel Starks comes in to pitch of the sixth for the Black squad.

Starks gave up a pair of runs on Brady Slavens’ run-scoring groundout and Casey Opitz’ RBI single

Miller Pleimann relieves and keeps it 12-8 headed to the seventh.

Top Seventh Inning - Black 15, Red 8

RHP Heston Tole starts the inning pitching for the Red

Ethan Bates doubles in a pair, but is gunned down at third on an incredible on the fly throw from Brayden Webb, who was on the warning track when he let it go.
