Jax Biggers followed with a single, Eric Cole walked and Kjerstad singled home Biggers to make it 4-0.

Jared Gates’ two-out double chases home Cole and Kjerstad to surge Arkansas ahead 6-0 and ends the day for Dayton starter R.J. Wagner.

Dominic Fletcher’s run-scoring double and Evan Lee added an RBI double to make it 8-0.

Grant Koch became the ninth person to reach bases consecutively for Arkansas before the end of the frame, which saw all eight runs scored with two outs.
