Why the Bama coach walked a freshman (fletcher) with the winning runs on base to pitch to Shaddy? I know he preferred the righty-on- righty matchup for his pitcher, but Shaddy, a four year junior is such a clutch hitter I figured he’d take his chances with a freshman even from the left side. Glad he did it, but I was a little surprised.
