I know they’re bringing in guards but (I expect at least one G in addition to Notae to leave) I’m talking about PGs.
They will need some ball-handling. Smith, Ford and Devo will help but the team, but it sure seems a true PG is needed.
Hope so. We need a true 1: a distributor / penetrator who can dribble-drive and dish. Having a solid 1 is like having a solid closer in baseball. When leading with 4:00 to play, a good point guard can execute in the half-court set, set-up his teammates to succeed, and bring it home / close-out the game.
